Youth Activities


Quiet Adventures Symposium is Feb 28 from 9 am - 5:30 pm at the MSU Farm Bureau Pavilion in East Lansing. 

Bring the whole family to QAS this year and enjoy the Youth area with lots of fun. Youth under 12 should be accompanied by an adult, please. 

Here are the key things happening:

1) Smokey the Bear Bounce House, from DNR Fire Fighting Officers
2) Painting of wooden paddles and canoes, with MSU Extension 4-H and QAS
3) Training fir the outdoors, with the Bus for Outdoor Access and Teaching (The Big Red Bus)
4) Bicycle safety Rodeo, with TCBA and MSU Bikes (bikes and helmets supplies) 
5) Lots of other activities throughout the Symposium, including Orienteering. 

The Smokey the Bear Bounce House is joining us, with Firefighting Officers to make sure we all stay safe.  Come and bounce around!

The BOAT Bus Team will be having a whole series of activities. Check out their schedule HERE

Tri-County Bicycle Association will have a Bike Safety Rodeo space in the ARENA for learning and practicing bike safety skills. MSU Bikes will once again provide kids' loaner bikes and helmets for this activity

MSU Extension Ingham County 4-H along with QAS will have activity tables for painting wooden paddles and canoes. Dissect Owl Pellets! 

Check out the DNR Outdoor Adventure Center booth, also in the ARENA, for more surprises.
